While it doesn't make sense for her to be associated with a Turkish car, her namesake is Admiral Pavel Nakhimov, who commanded the Imperial Russian Navy during wars against the Ottoman Empire, mainly the Greek War of Independence, the Russo-Turkish War of 1828, and the Crimean War.
