There are plenty more males. Since the beginning of the FF series your team selection has been predominately male. FFVII had 6 men 3 girls, IV had 2 girls 1 something and 4 guys, 8 and X had 4 guys 3 girls. Apart from XIII only VI and X-2 had female leads.

Worst ? 5.550.000 sales in the world in 3 years it's not that bad for "the worst" FF, it's slightly better than FFIX, and this one have 11 years behind him.

Where the hell is Rinoa and Garnet? Well, too many summoners/healers won't pose a good fight. Though would be too much romance, every heroine in the game may ruin it. You already got Tifa and Aerith in the game, woo boy.
