No it wouldn't. Silent Hill is about being helpless and paranoid in an enormous empty world while a faceless malevolence toys with you for reasons you don't understand. Silent Hill the town strips you of power. It's not about creepy monsters, it's about horror and anxiety. If Ed went to Silent Hill, with his skill in hand to hand combat, he wouldn't find slow moving stupid monsters who aren't physically threatening. He'd find Trisha Elric with her head the wrong way around and missing bits of her legs, strapped upside down to a metal cage frame. Getting fucked by Hughes.

Unless your powers are that of a god's/stronger than the very core influence of the entire town, you will not be performing any heroics or ass-kickery, and will have to play by the town's rules...
