    Goth-Loli

It is sometimes used as a general term for lolita fashion, and is an abbreviation of "lolita fashion" and "goth fashion" - that is to say, it's a derivative style of lolita!

Lolita fashion came from Western culture, and goth fashion evolved from Medieval Europe. However, "gothic lolita", the combination of the two, came from Japan.

It is a relatively new style that established itself as a subculture from Japan combining two western styles. As you can probably tell, the evolution of Harajuku fashion has a complicated history! There are many different genres that are hard to clearly define and understand due to being similar but having small differences.

This will be a bit long, but I'll try to introduce all of the main styles in a quick manner, and go into detail on how they are differentiated, so it hopefully won't be too hard to understand!!

I worked very hard and drew a lot of illustrations, so please stay until the end.
