黒一色で統一されたロリータスタイルのこと。

ゴスロリとの違いはそこにあります。

ゴスロリは白黒のボーダーソックスや
モノトーンスタイルなのに対して

黒ロリは黒一色で統一されているため、白い要素が混入する隙がありません。

また”ゴス”では無いので、ホラー系の要素も無く
かわりに星空をイメージした星座の柄や月の柄をあしらうなど

色は黒でも”かわいらしさ”は失われないスタイルです。

Kuro lolita is the direct contrasting style to shiro lolita, being an all-black style. That's what marks the difference between gothic lolita and kuro lolita.

Gothic lolita typically has striped socks and a black and white color palette, while kuro lolita is entirely black, leaving no room to mix in elements of white.

Also, as it's not a goth derivative style, there are no horror themes. Instead, there tend to be prints based on the night sky, such as constellations and stars. As such, the style does not loose its cuteness even despite its all black palette.
