Charmander
Thanks to ~PsychotropicFox s rendition of Charmander ideas regarding this little bastard began to burst out of my head. In most realistic versions he is portrayed as a dinosaur, but if you look at the original drawing you can notice he actually has very short limps and an elongated body. He looks like a damn salamander.
So here it is. Charmanders are a kind of bipedal descendant from amphibians. They differ from these animals mostly for the fact that they are no longer dependant of an aquatic medium. You can note that they have also developed nails. They have a strange resistance to high temperatures and fire, kind of like some frogs can freeze and not tie, thanks to certain substance that covers their cells. The reason for which the tail flame appeared is unknown, in other words I didnt want to think so much in that shit. It is produced by the reaction produced by secretions from several glands. But it proves to be a good defense against parasites and insects. For some reason is the fire dies out, something that doesnt happen easily, the animal dies.
They may look a bit dull and slow. But they are capable of moving at great speed as well pouncing great distances.
This tutorial thought me a very easy trick for adding fire to the image.
