Depends on if it's F.E.A.R. or the crappy sequel. In the original, there was actually an expansion pack, Extraction Point, where Alma's past self managed to show what kind of harm her present self did to others, calming her down. Unfortunately, prior to that, she brought Paxton Fettel back from the dead. It's a shame. I liked how the original and expanded story turned out better than F.E.A.R. 2's story.
