To oh I don't know, make her feel better, make her feel like maybe she didn't kill her best friend, to act as a sort of surrogate. After all, Dorothy is one of many emotionally damaged Nikkes.

I mean, she's not Pinne, and Grave doesn't even know about Pinne.
Yeah I suppose you're right, and Dorothy isn't that gullible, even if Dorothy were to tell he I doubt Grave would care.
I mean, also just consider for a moment what you're suggesting. Dorothy's already a damaged individual. Having someone around pretending to be a dead person would be doing a million times more damage to her mentally than not. Dorothy's issue is that she cannot move forward and lives entirely in the past. Her major story beat will be if she can ever learn to move past her trauma or not, and that would only make her stick to her guns.

Yeah, Grave would probably tell her she needs to grow up and move on like Cinderella.

You do realize that Pinne and Grave are both mass produced Nikkes from the same line right? Do you know what mass produced means? Dorothy probably already saw many of them during her time and every single one of them reminds her of Pinne, she doesn't need yet another one of those larping as her dead friend.
