Meh, they should stop trying to help them become a team. Kaguya seems to be trying to make enough spirit for the both of them but if Firefly ain't gonna match it, Shiki should just make Kaguya a cripple. Maybe that will get Moku into gear.

Following the rules of the barrier it shouldn't stop the powers of the elixir, since Reimu, Sanae, Hiriji, Okuu, Yugi, Orin, Sukia and Sakuya have all used magic or powers inside it's influence. In all their cases they've used powers that only target themselves, as such elixir immortals shouldn't really worry about the barrier interfering.

BUT, people are also misunderstanding the power the elixir has, it's not a regenerative, it's a resuscitate, They regenerate when they're revived. Which is why Kaguya's arms aren't healed.

I wonder if this is being done on purpose. With Enma loving lectures and turning people away from sin. I can see why people wouldn't listen to her after awhile.

You mean for Kaguya. Deep grudge is not a finality for someone not to support his/her nemesis. Temporary truce to achieve common goal is one, despite the needs for time and hard work to achieve such agreement.
