It looks ceramic. If she did that, it would crack and be leaking all over her (thus spilling). She's very likely balancing it.

Or it has been designed for her horn to be able to impale it (by puttin a small hole in it during the making... problem solved...

Or it possibly could be a gyroscopically balanced.
