Yuuno sort of counts MSLN, the only problem is, his status as "Mascot character" didn't last too long and he was just turned to "regular character".

Nuts and Coco from Pretty Cure 5 say "Hello!" First time I ever saw a magical girl fall in love with her mascot character (keep in mind he looks like a squirrel plushy most of the time).
