Nah. There's a reason most places with a serving bot irl use the design of OG Bell. Significantly less likely to result in unfortunate accidents because the base is always stabilized. Seriously, those things are almost impossible to tip over even at full load unless you're Andre the Giant or something. Even if 2026 has perfect gyroscopic stabilization she'll inevitably end up trying to dodge a kid or a customer like a humanoid would and so chuck her entire load all over the shop, and in that case she has double the ammunition capacity of OG.

I dunno man, the OG bell looks like top heavy with hollow bottom, which ain't good for stabilization means.

Pretty easy to fix about the hollow bottom. The base with the wheels could just be made with heavier materials. Where the 2 legged version just seems like an accident waiting to happen.

you guys are talking about a comic that has dragons that can isekai you if you bump into them -- dont think too hard and just roll with it.

There's also the fact that the legged version also wouldn't really have "double the capacity", it would have less of it because of the division of what's more or less the same surface, but less space-efficient

Thinking about it can absolutely be part of the fun

It is also a comic where managers making a dumb decision can lead to logical consequences like a cyclops raining burger sauce down onto a patron because the owner didn't invest in an awning or umbrella for some reason.
Well, what's the point of giving them legs if you're just gonna slap wheels on them in the end? Not to mention having them "walk" like a person just creates more issues both practicality and design-wise. Walk = more swaying motions => lots of shaking unless the trays are gyro-balanced which just means more production and maintenance cost.

Which... isn't really needed in a restaurant/diner. Especially not in a restaurant/diner where walkways are narrow with almost always high traffic. She needs to get food to table quickly, she doesn't need to literally "race" to it. We have had waiters/waitresses on rollerskates before, but those also don't carry the food in their thigh compartment where most of the swaying motions happen. And if speed is what they needed then some modifications to the current model would have suffice rather than a re-design.

Wheeled legs gives her higher maneuverability too, which means that she can get food to the table quicker in a crowded space.

Yeah, that's the main problem. They should've given her several arms instead of thigh storage...

So Spider-Girl or insect girl bot that we've seen in this series before instead of cat girl. I'm down for that. Cat girls are just universally loved I guess.
