Remilia always came across as immature in the Touhou series, at least to me. Her storyline in SWR was certainly childlike, as was her motivation in SSIB.

She does sort of give off that impression, and I have to say that yeah, given her story in SWR, this seems like something she'd do in a sense. Still an exaggeration though but, hey, we're already past the 'PFFFFT NO FUCKING WAY THAT WOULD HAPPEN' point from the first page of this, so why not just roll with it?
