这是我的个人早期作品系列“盖亚交响曲/足迹”的一张图。图中的是该系列的主角“克罗米·诺亚”。盖亚系列描绘的是她在一个日式欧风奇幻世界中旅行的各种场景。

绘制盖亚系列的时候我还没有发展出对民族文化的自觉，只是在懵懂地致敬自己当时接触到的强势外来文化。盖亚系列成型于 2000 年前后，应该受到了格兰蒂亚、最终幻想6、最终幻想战略版、圣剑传说3的影响。因为缺少自身对于作品的思考，而且我当时的美术基本功不足以支撑这个系列的创作，它很早就已经被放弃了。

这张图是盖亚系列中唯一一张我觉得可以见人的。但它其实是 2007 年——盖亚系列被放弃很多年后才画出来的某种纪念性质的“总结图”。

This is an art from my very early art project — Gaia Symphony. The girl in the picture is Klomi Noah, she is travelling in a JRPG fantasy world.

When I started drawing Gaia Symphony arts, I had not yet developed culture awareness. I was just drawing stuff to mimic what I absorbed from the media I consumed at the time, which happened to be dominated by western/Japanese culture.

Gaia Symphony started around 2000, and it ran for a few years. I think I took inspiration from the works like Grandia, Final Fantasy 6, Final Fantasy Tactics and Seiken Densetsu 3 (Trials of Mana). Because I lacked philosophical reflections and art skills, the project went nowhere, and it was abandoned a long time ago.

This picture is the last of the series, but it was actually created long after the project was abandoned. I created it as a summarization and closure of the past.
