From the manga. In Vol.6, there's a very minor character, a dude introduced during graduation who was seen that one time only. He worked with Miyuki as Class VP and wanted to confess to her, but could never do it. So the character was either called Toshiaki by fans or Toshiaki is based on him, it seems.
