(And as a verb it means "metamorphose" or "transform" instead.) To get förvränga/förvranska you need something like 曲解する/kyokkai suru.

Huh, weird. Double-checked with Google earlier and the integrated web version (like in the search results page) yields a different result compared to the standalone webpage, with スケベ/すけべ being translated into the much more accurate Oanständig. So for some weird reason the backends use slightly different AI language models.
The translation doesn't make sense anyway because "sukebe" can't be a verb and has zero connection with the "distort"/"corrupt" meanings. The only reason why I think this can happen is that Google's MTL AI just plain makes stuff up when it come across stuff they don't know (like a lot of other natural language model AIs unfortunately have a tendency to), in this case translating from "sukebe" to English "pervert" and then retranslating "pervert" into Swedish. Wouldn't be surprised if it learned how to do this on its own... *groan* ...like how some human 'translators' 'translate' stuff using a phrasebook from language A to B and then another from B to C, all the while pretending they are the authorative word on the subject.
This has the potential to become really dangerous one day.

Also attempted to reverse-MTL förvranska into Japanese later, and ironically got the opposite results, with the standalone webpage version accurately translating it into yugameru while the integrated version spitted out DISTORTION (dhisutooshon) in katakana English. Yeah it's DEFINITELY doing a double translation.
