Hmm. I've always thought that Koishi WAS an adult. The fact that she even looks more mature than Satori is even more convincing. Too me, she's a woman with the heart of a child.

She's not a child, that's for sure. We can't really be certain based on ZUN's art, but I always thought Satori and Koishi would look to be at least mid-teens in appearance, perhaps even older. Not this old though: this looks like mid-twenties or older.

But Koishi looking older than Satori is an interesting idea. That never occurred to me because of Koishi's carefree behavior and her way of talking. Maybe it's because both Satori's and Koishi's theme musics have the word 'girl(小女)' in their titles.
