I get that both series are ment to monopolize their respective products but it feels to me that Digimon at least tries to be less obvious about it. Not to mention the Digimon series actually have a story. Although when it comes to the games, Pokemon over Digimon for me.

yeah, although I get the feeling they are trying to make the pokemon games to much like the anime, hence fifth gen! I mean, one more friendship speech, and I was gonna lose it!

I still have a working Red version that holds a save, and the first season of Digimon. Because some things are... just worth it.
Couldn't be more in agreement with you on every point. Although honestly I really enjoyed Digimon Rumble Arena, and Digimon World... 3? I think it was 3. The one where you had a party of 3 and could switch between them. Renamon was in it, and I always ended up training her up tons. Never beat that one though. Then again, Pokemon Stadium's minigames were hard to beat...
