Lawsuit organized by Rakkun and co-workers against their agency Owozu was dismissed. Amidst some other drama, some of them desisted to pursue with other lawsuits. After her friend Nene (ex-Karma) said that she was "manipulated" to sue, Rakkun went nuclear to clear many allegations against her and prove how no one involved was innocent (or sth like that), revealing on stream screencaps with personal info, legal documents and recorded private calls, which she shared on a Drive folder. She was then later banned on Twitch and the public perception of her remains quite bad.
Specifically, it was Nene's lawsuit that was lost. Afaik, much of the evidence was dismissed due to it not being raw (it had notes for "context"). According to Rakkun on her nuke stream, the manager of Nene sabotaged the case due to his testimony contradicting the others.
I also heard in retaliation, the company decided to sell Rakkun's model and assets for $5.
How would that work out for the buyer? Can they just put a new model over the rigging? It'd be a little off (to say the least) to have a new Vtuber come along all "Hey, everyone! Rakkdos here!", at least to me.
