I mean, that scaly dress underside design looks like Shagaru Magala's wing, but that doesn't make it 100% sure that the artist 'copied' the design. It's just because Ascalon's horns turned white (previously it's dark-purple with glowing purple segments, not unlike Gore Magala) that the one reporting draws the resemblance.

Yes, at the beginning almost all people thinked it just artist's tribute to Shagaru Magala without any problem, but then the extraction sprite assets showed that the artist didnt not even completely wipe up Shagaru Magala's leftover claw of original assets and used them, so something changed.Ref
