Gotta filter one of my favorite artists because bro thought it was a good idea to mega spam post his entire pixiv account. Can't even search Touhou on this site right now.
Do each of these spritesheets need their own pool?
Like, each individual pool is a variant set. We usually make those as a parent-child relationship, and if necessary collate them into one pool across multiple sets. A single pool would make them way easier to sort by as well (as you can just search [pool number] + [character name] to put them together), and also easier to filter out to just look at the unrelated work by the artist.

As per above suggestions, added all the variant sets into a big pool. Now should the individual variant set pools be deleted?
Well we certainly don't need one big pool, ten dozen small pools, and parenting.
You can just search "pool:26125 character" if you want to find a specific character's variant sets. I don't think there's much point in having them parented, either, if they're all in a pool. Especially for the characters with 20+ variants. Parenting isn't really intended for chains that long, you just use a pool at that point.
