I don't know what's more suprising, the fact we can in all honestly call that armor, or the fact Mikoto is wearing it in the first place.

Well it follows the rule of female armor, which says that the more skin it reveals the higher the armor class.

So she still needs some more armor upgrades.

So...by that logic, the best armor for a female in any game would be...just a pair bra and panties?

Bra and panties lower armor class by a margin. Better go without for high-level raids

In Monster Hunter 3rd the light bowgun weapon of the jinouga set she's wearing looks like a railgun like her nickname

the best option should really be the bath towel set it truly is a high-level set of armor for the women

Also note that the monster itself can shoot lightning.
