If you have to squint, you're looking too hard.

If you have to squint you need glasses, this is mad jpeged. Also Danbooru has had high standards for at least 3 and a half years, get with it.

They need to add a test on file formats as part of the Pixiv registration process, and you don't get an account if you can't pass it. So much good art artifacted to fuck and back by the artist themself for no good reason.

This so much, although to be fair sometimes pixiv screws up on their end, only sometimes though. As for the rest, sometimes i wounder if the artist themselves even relize or even know what a jpg artifact is. I gotta be honest, I didn't even know what an artifact was until 2 years after I started scanning and putting my work on my computer.

Wouldn't have helped in this case - tsuki_wani has been around for ages and most of his uploads aren't like this. And since this is part of an actual doujin, I wonder if it might even be deliberate. "Like what you see? Buy the high-quality version!"

thats what im thinking. post #576350 was deleted for jpeg artifact while the scanlated version was MUCH better, though it was never uploaded to danbooru. google Circle Nurumaya Eikikki Yume Mousou and you'll see what i mean.

I prefer not to flag posts because of artifacts but when they are prominent like they are in this image I make an exception. Even after wrecking my eyes trying to tag on behoimi I can easily see the artifacts.

Tsuki Wani definitely did this on purpose in order for people to order the paper version.
