    Titled "Pearl Harbour Witches"

    Part One of Two

    Part Two: post #976839

    Artist's Commentary:

there you'll beは良曲。異論は認める→http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Btesr2G8WpE

Those outfits, the movie that this image is based on is a good movie, mostly about two pilots who save Pearl Harbour from turning out worse

Obviously vw is talking about 'Tora Tora Tora,' since that other thing is four different movies all jammed together with a lot of added kissing...

Being more serious; I'd be interested in how the Nueroi might pull off such an attack, since an aside in s2-e8 seems to imply the Neuroi don't like to get very far from shore.

A maverick Nueroi assault unit with cloaking tech?

A cloak isn't really needed this is the 40s, all it would take is an inexperienced radar operator dismissing a contact as a false positive, just like happened in reality. The fact it's pretty much canon the Nueroi never made it to the pacific is a far bigger issue.

So the Fuso Sea incident, which is at least Pacific Rim, and where a certain eye-patched Major and several other Fuso witches made their reputations doesn't count?

Ouka Fan, I can see what you mean, but everything about the Fuso Sea Incident as it's shown reflects more of the Second Sino-Japanese War - the war in China; its timing (1937), its location (Fuso Sea/Sea of Japan, which is very close to Manchuria), and the witches themselves (Anabuki, Keito, Kuroe, and Kato all made their reputations fighting in China).

While the war in China - and by extension the Fuso Sea Incident - were part of the larger war, its difficult to place them in the Pacific Theater as we do with events like Pearl Harbor.

Xenos are a wiley bunch, I wouldn't put it past these...these 'things' to strike such a juicy target. I doubt they'll stop the attack till they completely wipe out Hawaii, military AND civilian

War movie witches' conversion series. Movie characters + α。◆ The movie "Pearl Harbor" got a lot of criticism, didn't it? It's true there's a lot of things I could say about it, but the special effects in the battle scenes were astounding, so I happen to like it quite a bit. You can guess things will be more convenient and develop better for them if it's not a jointly developed film like "Tora! Tora! Tora!", right? There You'll Be is a good song. But you don't have to take my word for it →http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Btesr2G8WpE

Thank you for the movie name. I remember the movie and the fact the guy flew a plane in a Hawaiian shirt, but not the name. And as per the placement of battles and such, like the translation by Solamarle says, "War movie witches' conversion" Which makes me think the artist is just witchifying pilots from movies, nevermind the cannon/fannon part of it.
