Artist's Commentary:

北条　水静（ほうじょう　みしず）一等海尉（18歳）。扶桑国国防海軍空母「洋龍」飛行隊所属。コールサイン＜ランサー２＞、TACネーム＜プリンシパル＞。ストライカーはF-14AF トムキャット艦上戦闘脚、使用武装は銃剣付き三八式狙撃銃・カスタム、P226 9mm拳銃等。使い魔はフソウトカゲ。裕福な家庭の生まれで根っからのお嬢様気質。しかし、家柄で評価されるのを嫌い、実力主義な面も持つ。薙刀、弓術、銃剣術も心得ており、現扶桑軍では珍しい三八式歩兵銃の改造品に着剣しての格闘戦を得意とする。ペルシャ湾上の防空戦で戦果を挙げ続け、同隊隊長で僚機の徳川三佐を凌ぐスコアを叩き出す。その過程でリベリオン海軍のミッチェル大尉、オラーシャ海軍のスタリコヴァ少佐との三つ巴となって張り合ったという。お茶と和菓子が大好物。料理は大の苦手で修行中。　「憎ったらしいネコと鳥ですこと！あなた達がネウロイならよかったのに！」

Captain Houjou Mishizu, age 18, of the Fusou Marine Defense Force, assigned to the flight squadron of the carrier Youryuu. Her callsign is Lancer 2 and her TAC name is Principal. Her Strikers are F-14AF Tomcat carrier-based attack units, and her standard armament consists of a custom Type 38 sniper rifle with bayonet, a type P226 9mm handgun, etc. Her familiar is the Fusou five-linked skink. Born to a wealthy family, she is an ojou-sama type through to the core. However, she doesn't like being being judged based on her lineage, and believes strongly in meritocracy. She knows a lot about naginatas, archery, and bayonets, and she's one of the rare members of the contemporary Fusou military that prides herself in close combat with a Type 38 fitted with a modified bayonet. She racked up successes in battle during support operations in the Persian Gulf, and blew past the score of fellow squadron member Major Tokugawa. It's said in the process she developed a rivalry among herself and Lieutenant Mitchell of the Liberion Navy and Major Starikova of the Orussian Navy. She particularly loves green tea and Japanese candies. She's very bad at cooking, so she's practicing to get better. "You're filthy birds and cats! If only you'd been Neuroi!"
