I still call BS on this. There is no way he obtained all those badges and participated in so many leagues in the span of 3 years let alone even 5. The absolute minimum he had to have spent(dont forget travel time) would have to be at least 8-9 years.

In the series before BW saga there is age progression as edvindence in his mannerisms and in some episodes they say a year hass passed since we been here. But BW was essentially a reboot and in the first episode they say he's 10 which pissed me off

Same here but i'd rather take a half-assed reboot explaination instead of having it trying to explain itself to still be a part of the continuity.

I can field that one actually. By finally ditching Brock, and giving Ash two companions who are technically gym leaders, they're attempting to "recreate" the Brock & Misty combination from the original series.

Sadly...while they've ditched everyone else in the entire series...Ash is still there...they really REALLY need to give us someone knew...with his own excuse for starting with a pokemon that isn't a standard starter.

It's really too bad. Black & White woulda been an ideal spot to start over.

This so much, and its not like they have to ditch Pikachu either(their mascot). Just give the new character a Pikachu as well. Problem solved.
