It's a well known "fact" (at least here where I live) that when you don't know an answer, just choose C (or like in this case 3)... Some heretics go with B, but now that I was on the other side of the trenches (teachers) I can say that it's true, when you have 4 choices, the probability of C being correct is higher than 1/4 (and this is because teachers are lazy! their patterns are easyer to read than danmaku)

Talent, and luck beyond the norm. She's so insanely lucky that playing any game that depends on chance with Reimu invariably results in Reimu's win. According to a certain well-informed person (who appears to be Akyuu based on the context), the world records Reimu's guess and modifies itself to increase the chances that Reimu's guess is correct. Then it's explained that Reimu doesn't even dodge bullets consciously, but to her the bullets seem to be evading her by themselves. Conversely, the bullets Reimu shoots are meant to fly straight, but to Reimu the bullets appear to be changing their trajectory by themselves to always hit the target.
So this is pretty much a really clever and accurate (but maybe exaggerated) depiction of Reimu's trait.

Also quoting some transcription, this has to be, being Hakurei Shrine is one that holds the border, and by extension, Gensokyo, together. This makes her can't-be-defeated-even-if-an-yokai-wanted-to. Through this extension, it's mix of "she can't be defeated" and "she won't be defeated".
In simpleness, she has talent, luck, and advantage.

The main reason to use B is in case there's a True/False section. On a standard Scantron sheet, B corresponds to False (which seems to be a more common answer than True), but C has no meaning on a True/False question and is therefor invariably wrong. I heard about someone who got 0% on a ridiculously easy test this way (the lowest score ever-- second lowest was 50%).
I do no studying and still managed to get the highest score on my music test in my class (all my classes are top class) and win an award as best in the school at music but I'm nowhere near as good as reimu. I do work hard in class though, maybe that's how I did it. I could never get 100%. even in most of my maths tests I get 97%. Apparently none of my friends study either and get high scores.
I don't know if reimu's anything special seeing as we could. She's probably just smarter.

But she's been beaten before, what matters is Gensokyo is skill, which she has a lot.
What can't happen to her is death by murder due to the spellcard draft, the same one that allows her to be beaten.

That, or the school itself permits work uniforms to be worn inside the campus. I dunno if its true, but SOME (prove me wrong plox) schools allow girls who are mikos to wear their garment.

I can believe that. But post #630189 pretty much says she's too poor to afford it.

You're not wrong, there are schools that allow girls who are actual Mikos to wear their Miko cloathes.
Reminds me of that one test where a student tried to go with C on all answers. Thing is, the answer sheet features A to E but every single question only used A or B. Fail.
“extremely ordinary middle school girl” who is also an exorcist who is dirt poor
You're amazing, Reimu. What kind of special studying do you use?In order to receive the scholarship program, I have to maintain as the top student of every school year.Let's write "3" for all of them.Hakurei ReimuI don't understand this at all...I'm Hakurei Reimu, 2nd year middle school. The only student with scholarship in this school.Reimu got the top score again.I'm an extremely ordinary middle school girl. But that doesn't mean that I can do any special studying.Turn in your test.None at all.
