Azur Lane's personification of the aircraft carrier USS Bunker Hill (CV-17).
Character design by Kexue, voiced by Ichinose Kana.
Appearance
See post #3457118.
Bunker Hill has very long blonde hair with a black rose hair flower adorning the right side of her hair. Her uniform is near identical to Essex. She wears a low cut blue dress with red and white accents as well as her name written vertically along the left side. She has a blue cloak with a closed high collar as well as a red necktie. She wears black pantyhose and black footwear boots.
Her rigging is an asymmetrical pair of flight decks. On her right is the longer flight deck which splits width-wise, about two-thirds from the stern, as well as a hull. On her left is the short flight deck which is marked with the number 17.
History
The real-life Bunker Hill was among the first of the Essex-class to see frontline service, with her combat debut being a massive air raid on Rabaul with her sister Essex and the veteran Saratoga in November 1943.
She later saw action in the battles of the Philippine Sea, Leyte Gulf, and Operation Ten-go before sustaining severe damage from a kamikaze in May 1945. This attack put her out of action for the rest of the war.
Ultimately, she never returned to service unlike her other sisters (as the US Navy had envisioned an "ultimate refit" for her due to her brand new-like condition at the end of her repairs but never took place).
