As he is a player character, he does not have much characterization within the game itself. However, he receives more personality in manga and anime adaptations. He also makes cameo appearances in the Learn with Manga! series, where he regularly makes passes at Astolfo and is apparently the female protagonist's pretend pro-wrestling partner.
