Despite being a minor character in the game Hamefura is set in, she rises to major prominence once the reincarnated Katarina Claes takes over, immediately taking to her side and befriending the happy-go-lucky Katarina.
Sophia's attachment to Katarina seems to transcend worlds, as Katarina has more than once felt the presence of "A-chan", a fellow otome game lover and her only friend in her previous life, within Sophia, and that presence has also manifested within Sophia herself to help guide her when Katarina is in trouble.
