A pair of scissors meant specifically for suturing wounds. They're typically lean and silver with circular handles for the finger rings, with the edges of the blades either slightly curved or pronged.
The modified edges of the blades help hold open a wound being performed on, hold a suture needle, cut open sutures/bandages, and etc.
Not to be confused with fabric scissors, which have the same general shape/color but thicker blades and one larger finger ring than another.
