    雨宿り

The act of going underneath something in order to protect oneself from bad weather, most often rain or snow. One could take shelter under a bridge, an awning, a bus stop, or a tree, among other possible locations or objects.

Not to be confused with taking cover, for when a character attempts to protect themselves from danger.
