A fictional attack spacecraft from the Star Wars universe.

The Sienar Fleet Systems TIE Interceptor was an advanced variant of the standard Imperial TIE fighter seen in massive numbers throughout most of the Galactic Civil War and onward.

This one-man small attack craft was highly maneuverable and even faster than the TIE, but it also lacked any hyperdrive and did not have deflector shields, so was usually deployed in vast numbers. It was armed with four laser cannons. TIE Interceptors were usually assigned to officers or aces in the Galactic Empire fleet's most important squadrons.
