Chongyang Cake, also known as Flower Cake, Chrysanthemum Cake, or Five-Colored Cake, is a traditional Chinese seasonal food for the Double Ninth Festival. It is primarily made from glutinous rice flour, regular rice flour, red beans, and sugar. The cake gets its name from being consumed on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month during the Double Ninth Festival. It is mainly popular in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region of China.
