chrono genesis (racehorse)

Japanese racehorse. Sired by Bago (a winner of the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe) and foaled by Chronologist (from Kurofune). She is the younger sister of Normcore, who is also individually successful as a racer.

She was a particularly dark gray mare in her prime, likely born as Black or Brown, with an irregular star or stripe marking shaped like a Greater-than sign or a right single guillemet, and a pastern on her front left leg.

She started her career in a still growing state and most of her major wins were punctuated by sudden large weight gains. She is the winner of the 2019 Shuka Sho, the 2020 and 2021 Takarazuka Kinen and the 2020 Arima Kinen. She was paired with Kitamura Yuuichi up until near the end of her career, upon which Christophe Lemaire took his place.

She became an official Umamusume in time for the 4th Anniversary of the game along with many of her illustrious rivals.
