The SLV-111 Daedalus Super-Large-Scale Semi-Submersible Assault Landing Vessel is a type of U.N. Spacy naval ship built as a semi-submersible assault carrier deployed by the U.N. Forces in the ocean surrounding South Ataria island.
The ship's main feature was a collapsible ramp extending from the bow of the ship outward, designed to load the Destroid series mecha and then promptly sortie Destroids upon arrival at an enemy base. The Daedalus is 0.4 km long. It also serves as the SDF-1's Right Arm.
In real life , this ship was designed by Miyatake Kazutaka in the early 80s.
