Having more than five fingers or toes. Usually an artistic error which amateur and professional artists alike are prone to on occasion. Earlier versions of generative AI are especially infamous for getting hands wrong this way. When not an error, extra fingers can often be found on mutant or otherwise monstrous humanoids.

Polydactyly is a real, albeit rare, genetic condition. Human characters with polydactyly include:
