When a character is rendered fluffier than their "default state". This can be external due to factors such as being blow dried or static electricity post #2715406 post #5862716 or voluntary like an animal puffing up to keep warm.

Distinct from fluffy in that this is a temporary state while fluffy is just physical appearance regardless of whether or not the character is always fluffy. Though the two often overlap.
