godzilla (monsterverse)
An incarnation of Godzilla appearing in the MonsterVerse series of movies, including Godzilla (2014), Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Produced by Legendary Pictures with an assistance from Toho Films.
This version of Godzilla is a monster of ancient origin with a similar traits from the late Heisei-era Godzilla (a force of nature and world's protector). It was nicknamed by fans as "Bear Godzilla" due to its bulky stature.
