gunbai
A Japanese fan used by military officers to communicate with their troops. Generally made of solid wood, metal, or wood with metal framework. Also used by scoring referees in sumo wrestling matches.
The weapon of choice of Uchiha Madara, whose large gunbai resembles a guitar.
