"学園黙示録 High School of the Dead" ("Gakuen Mokushiroku High School of the Dead", "Academy Apocalypse") is a zombie apocalypse-themed manga series written by the late Sato Daisuke and illustrated by Satou Shouji.
It is set during a worldwide pandemic that transforms most of the population into zombie-like creatures, constantly referred to as "them." The story revolves around a group of high school students and the school nurse and their pursuit of salvation from the outbreak of "them."
An anime adaption aired in 2010.
