katsuragi misato
A character from Neon Genesis Evangelion who is the chief operations officer at Nerv. She is the field commander for the Eva pilots and guardian of Ikari Shinji and Souryuu Asuka Langley who stay at her home.
Misato and her father were involved in the Second Impact as he was a top scientist who in the last moment put Misato in a escape capsule so she could survive the event. Afterwards Misato became crazy with survivor guilt and was admitted into a mental institution for most of her teenage years. After being released in her adult years she developed a very extroverted and cheerful personality to be able to cope with her past tragedies.
Misato has a pet mutant penguin named PenPen; and she was the lover of Kaji Ryouji.
