produce 101
Produce 101 is a series of reality TV shows centered around creating a new k-pop/idol group from a large pool of contestant trainees from various entertainment companies. The series originated in South Korea, and has since had officially licensed installments in China, Japan, and Thailand as well.
Each season focuses solely on either female idols or male idols.
