stephen colbert

A notable American political pundit known for his outlandish, faux-conservative alter ego of the same name that he debuted on Comedy Central's The Daily Show in 1997, eventually leading to the character hosting The Colbert Report from 2005 through its end in 2014. He would takeover The Late Show on CBS afterward, hosting it as himself. He is otherwise known for his encyclopedic knowledge of The Lord of the Rings.
