Bipedal, red-skinned passive mob in Minecraft that only spawns in the Nether. Having the ability to walk on molten rock, Striders are very helpful for long distance travel in the Nether. A player can ride it by putting a saddle, and holding a warped fungus on a stick is required to control the Strider.
Feeding two Striders with warped fungi will cause them to breed. Water and snow are harmful to Striders. Having 20 health points (10 hearts), they drop string upon death.
