tang sanzang

One of the main characters of Journey to The West. A priest protected by Sun Wukong, Sha Wujing, and Zhu Bajie. Also called Xuanzang or Tripitaka.

The original myth had the priest as a man, but some versions of the story portray him as a female priest instead.
