the royal family (tv series)
A Japanese TV drama series centered on horse owners in the racing world. Adapted from the novel of the same name by Hayami Kazuma, it is airing on TBS starting October 12, 2025 (available worldwide on Netflix under the English title "Passing the Reins").
As the second cour of Umamusume: Cinderella Gray aired on the same network around the same time, a collaboration was made to create original Umamusume based on the fictional horses Royal Hope and Royal Family from the drama. Note: Do not add umamusume tag as it has NO connection with the other series.
