Mascot of Tsukumo electronics store, debuted on September 8, 2009. She became an important element of Akihabara and even won a popularity poll of "Moe Characters You See in Akihabara" for 11 consecutive years.
On September 8, 2020, the store chain's official Twitter account announced that Tsukumo-tan's character license agreement between Tsukumo and Toy’s Planning, a character design and marketing company, has expired and was not renewed.
