USS New Jersey (BB-62) is the second of the four Iowa-class battleships built for the United States Navy. First commissioned in 1943, it became the most decorated battleship of the USN with nineteen battle stars for combat service in the Pacific Theater of World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and actions in Lebanon and the Persian Gulf. The vessel was decommissioned for the last time in 1991, and is currently a museum ship in Camden, New Jersey.
