    vulcan

    vulcan_(species)

A fictional humanoid alien race from the Star Trek series. They all have straight black hair, pointy ears and funny eyebrows.

Vulcans were one of the first intelligent alien races that made contact with the human race. They are an important part of the United Federation of Planets and helped to create it with the humans and many other pacific alien races.

Vulcans value logic, harmony, intelligence and serenity above everything else. However, despite their pacifist nature and culture they have super human strength, are very well trained in personal self-defense and can be very smart and highly capable warriors when the situation requires it. They also have very long lifespans.

In their past, Vulcans and Romulans shared the same origins and both originated from a barbaric and war-mongering race. As time passed the Vulcan culture changed and evolved into a very intelectual and logic ridden peaceful species. The Romulan race, however, continued with its war-like tendencies.
